Consular Appointment
Eng. Alfredo Carmine Cestari assumes the position of Honorary Consul of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The appointment recognizes an already consolidated experience in Africa and marks the beginning of a continuous institutional presence.
Foundation
ItalAfrica Centrale is born as a Foreign Chamber of Commerce recognized in Italy and registered in the Registry of Italian-Foreign Chambers of Commerce, with the goal of building a stable bridge between the Italian system and Continental Africa.
Operational Start
ItalAfrica Centrale supports companies and public entities in internationalization and trade promotion processes. Cultural dialogue and institutional exchange initiatives begin.
Institutional Relations
Relations with governments and institutions of Central and Sub-Saharan Africa are strengthened. The Chamber consolidates its role as a qualified partner for cultural and training cooperation projects.

Expo Milano 2015
Following the official assignment of Expo Milano 2015, ItalAfrica Centrale initiates intensive institutional relations with African countries.

Coordination with African governments and Italian institutions intensifies in view of Expo Milano 2015. The Chamber works on building paths that integrate economic promotion, culture and valorization of national identities.
Network Consolidation
Consolidation of the international network of contacts and offices. The number of assisted companies grows. Cultural promotion initiatives develop as a lever to strengthen economic cooperation.
Path to Expo
Support for African countries on the path to Expo Milano 2015 continues. ItalAfrica Centrale operates as a platform connecting institutions, companies and cultural systems.
New Sectors
The Chamber strengthens expertise in infrastructure, energy and logistics sectors. Attention to tourism as an instrument of sustainable development and valorization of African territories grows.
Burundi Commissioner
Alfredo Carmine Cestari is appointed General Commissioner of Burundi for Expo Milano 2015. The role allows promoting the country not only economically, but also culturally, touristically and socially.
African Participation
Intensification of coordination activities for African participation in Expo Milano 2015. The Chamber contributes to building country narratives based on cultural identity and development potential.
Expo Milano 2015
Expo Milano 2015 represents a turning point. ItalAfrica Centrale accompanies numerous African countries during the Exposition, fostering economic cooperation, cultural dialogue and long-term institutional relations.
Expo Follow-up
After the Expo experience, the Chamber initiates follow-up activities on launched projects. Social and charitable initiatives are strengthened, oriented towards local community development and training.
Feasibility Studies
ItalAfrica Centrale expands activities in technical and economic feasibility studies. Projects with social and territorial impact are integrated, with attention to health, education and inclusion.
Strategic Sectors
Projects in agriculture, energy and infrastructure sectors are consolidated. Sustainable tourism is recognized as a strategic lever for economic and employment growth.
Sustainable Development
Commitment to sustainable development and territorial valorization grows. The Chamber strengthens dialogue with national and European institutions also on culture and tourism as cohesion factors.
Sud Polo Magnetico
The Sud Polo Magnetico project is born, promoted by ItalAfrica Centrale as a strategic vision for the revival of Southern Italy. The South is conceived as a natural platform connecting Italy, Europe and Africa.
Territorial Development
Sud Polo Magnetico is structured as an integrated territorial development project. Areas include internationalization, economic cooperation, agriculture, tourism, culture, infrastructure and energy.
Special Economic Zones
Special Economic Zones (SEZ) become a central operational lever of the project. SEZs favor productive investments, advanced logistics and capital attraction, strengthening the competitiveness of Southern Italy.
Cohesion Policies
Sud Polo Magnetico is presented as a concrete contribution to cohesion and territorial development policies. ItalAfrica Centrale strengthens dialogue with national and European institutions.
Mattei Plan
The Chamber's activities align with the Mattei Plan guidelines, interpreted as a strategic framework for equal Italy-Africa cooperation. The Plan integrates economic development, energy, training, infrastructure, culture and tourism.
Consular Continuity
Alfredo Carmine Cestari's consular mandate in DR Congo concludes. Giovanni Cestari, son of the President, assumes the position of Honorary Consul of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Integrated Vision
ItalAfrica Centrale involves nineteen Continental African countries. Sud Polo Magnetico, SEZ and Mattei Plan converge in an integrated vision that valorizes Southern Italy as a strategic lever of the country system.

Presidente
Eng. Alfredo Carmine Cestari
Born in 1964 in Tardiano, a hamlet of Montesano sulla Marcellana (SA), Eng. Cestari graduated in Civil Engineering in 1997, followed by a second degree in Economics and Communication Technologies.
